A Report from the Vyasapuja ceremony held in Radhadesh, Belgium

On the night of Gururmaharaja's Vyasapuja devotees gathered in a decorated hall, with very nice altar. Gurumaharaja's picture was on the raised platform and behind, slightly above him, were the pictures of local Deities Radha Gopinath, Jagannatha Baladeva Subhadra and Gaura Nitai.

This years Vyasapuja ceremony was attended by more than 70 devotees, this is remarkable because only four of the participating devotees were initiated disciples of Gurumaharaja and one of us was an aspiring disciple. The program started with the kirtan, than senior members of the community and disciples read the offerings and shared some anecdotes with everyone, everyone was given a chance to say something about Gurumaharaja. After the very pleasant hour and a half of devotees glorifying a Vasihnava on his day of appearance we performed a puspanjali as well as aroti accompanied with the song Gurudeva. About 70 devotees were dancing in ecstasy. After the kirtan the ekadasi cake and some other delicious preparations were served to devotees. Devotees appreciated the program, and some of them said they felt Gurumaharaja's presence.

Next day, on dvadasi, the team of devotees cooked a feast for everyone on behalf of Gurumaharaja. About 120 devotees were fed. This was the first year that Vyasapuja was held public in Radhadesh, the organisers thought it was a success, they also felt that Gurumaharaja was pleased with the offering.

I wish to add one personal realisation at this occasion, I have been on the program and I felt Gurumaharaja's presence there. And one thing I have felt in my heart more than ever before. I felt there is only one Jayapataka Swami, and I understood that he is so special to me; more than I have known before.
