Please accept our most respectful and humble prostrate obeisances (koti-koti sāṣṭāṅga danḍavat praṇāma) at your louts feet,

Like every year, this year too Your fortunate disciples collectively celebrated the Vyaasa Pujaa Mahotsava for two days respectively on 14th and 15th April. As usual the number of dikshaa disciples, sheltered disciples and aspiring disciples has increased considerably.

The details of the program are as follows (photographs attached):

We always feel that the grandeur of Vyaasa Pujaa program should increase every year and we should feed Mahaa-prasaadam to more devotees with more number of items. But, this year we changed the plan slightly. We decided to collect more Lakshmi than yesteryear, but instead of using up all the Lakshmi for the celebration, we resolved to save a part of it and send it for the treatment of Gurumaharaj on Sri Nrsimha Chaturdashi, or would send it as directed by HH Bhakti Purushottam Swami Maharaj. (The list of the names of devotees and disciples who have contributed Lakshmi is attached herewith.)

Even after reducing the number of items in prasaadam and other things, we were amazed to see the majestic success of the program on both the days simultaneously. This was only possible due to Your Holiness's Grace.

On 14th morning the devotees of various congregations, temple residents and the disciples gathered in a seminar hall at around 9.30. Various devotees performed Kirtans for Gurumaharaj's pleasure. Simultaneously, on a huge screen Vyaasa Pujaa from Sri Mayapur Dhaam was projected LIVE for the pleasure of the devotees. Later, His Grace Raivat Das (HHGKG), temple commander, started with aarati and the Mahaa Abhishekam of Srila Prabhupada along with Srila Gurumaharaj, followed by all other devotees respectively.

There after Bhoga was offered to Gurumaharaj and simultaneously His Grace Vishvarupa Das (HHGKG) and my fallen self delivered a glorification speech about Gurumaharaj. The links to the speeches are given below:

His grace Vishvarupa Prabhu spoke on the glorious life and dedication of Gurudeva in serving Srila Prabhupada, concluding with his own experiences with Gurumaharaj.

I read out and translated Gurumaharaj's message to the disciples as written by His Grace Manoram Chaitanya prabhu (http://www.jpsdisciples.com/profiles/blogs/most-important-instruction-of) and was appreciated very-very much. Ultimately many devotees asked for a printed copy of these instructions, which they said would like to read and remember everyday.

Later, His Grace Shri Jashomatinandan Prabhu (ACBSP), temple president of ISKCON Ahmedabad, arrived and offered prostrate obeisances to Gurumaharaj, followed by his warm glorification speech for his godbrother.

Thereafter, he offered Pushpaanjali (flowers) to Gurumaharaj and others followed him, along with the recitation of pranaam mantras of Gurumaharaj and our paramparaa. The day was concluded with mahaa-prasaadam for all.

Then next day 15th April, was the day for feasting and feeding the rest of the devotees who could not attend on 14th. Due to Sri Raama-navami celebrations we already had a nice pandaal and a stage, along with good sitting arrangement and lighting. Hence, at around 8.00 in the evening, the devotees from all over and the invited guests started coming for the program. The program started with Kirtan performed by Russian devotees. Later, some senior devotees glorified Gurumaharaj for some time, until His Grace Shri Jashomatinandan Prabhu arrived and glorified Gurumaharaj, our paramparaa system, Krsna Consciousness movement and Srila Prabhupada.

The senior most disciple of Gurumaharaj at Ahmedabad yatra His Grace Ujjwala Nrsimha Das offered a huge cake to Gurumaharaj, first offered to Their Lordships Sri Sri Jagannath-Baladeva-Subhadra-Sudarshanaji, Sri Sri Laddu-Gopalji & Sri Sri Gaura-Nitaai. He invited Shri Jashomatinandan Prabhu to cut the cake on behalf of Gurumaharaj and hence celebrate the glorious day. Thereafter the devotees danced on the Kirtan led by His Grace Vishvarupa Prabhu and some offered flowers to Gurumaharaj. Mahaa-Prasaadam feast was offered to around 500 devotees, which was prepared by all day long effort of Bangali devotees, undergoing devotional training of Bhakti Vriksha conducted by this fallen servant. Prasaadam was greatly appreciated and liked by all.
