60th Vyasa Puja celebrations of His Divine Grace Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj started on the Sunday just after 12 pm with the bajan performed by Bhaktavasa Govinda das and then shortly after by Dlayacandra das.
The temple room was beautifully decorated the day before by Visnu Priya dasi her daughters, Madhuri Priti dasi and Malaharini dasi.
Lecture was given by Trisama das who praise the glories of the Spiritual Master based on the 8 verses of Sri Sri Guruv-astaka prayer. Different devotees were sharing their realizations on the relationship between Guru and disciple and their experiences from meeting Guru Mahraja personally. Atmosphere was very sweet and touching.
When the class has finished Visvarupa das and Malaharini dasi had set up the the screen and projector for the slide show about Guru Maharaja’s life while Radhanandini dasi was reading His Divine Grace’s biography.
In the meanwhile pujari was offering Ekadasi feast for The Deities on the altar. All the devotees gathered in the front of the Vyasasan to take part in puspanjali ceremony.
After puspanjali Janesvar Gaur das offered the feast to Guru Maharaj and then performed Guru puja ceremony while devotees were singing and dancing in spiritual ecstasy.
Last point of the Vyasa Puja celebration was Ekadasi feast cooked by many devotees such as: Rati Manjari dasi, Kripalu Rama das, Visnupriya Gaura ddwith her daughters - Draupadi, Madhavi and Lalita, Dvarakacyuta das, Trisama das, Bhaktavasa Govinda das, Visvarupa das, Madhuri Prti dd, Dhanada Gopi dd, bh Stanislaw, bh Zbigniew, bh Wicherek.
When all the devotees were waiting for the feast to be served Bhaktavasa Govinda das came with beautiful cake prepared by Yasioda Gopi dasi. Candles were light up on the cake and Vaisnawas sung Happy Birthday song. Bhaktavasa Govinda das asked everybody to pray for Guru Mahrajas well being while Trisma das blew out the candles.
Some of the disciples such as: Madhuryi Kadambini dasi, Rupa Vilasa das and Ekangi Radha dasi, Jayorjita Ksrna das couldn’t come to Wroclaw but they helped to celebrate Vyasa Puja by sending donations.
